Welcome to UK-German Connection

‘Bringing young people together’ is at the heart of our work and the core of our mission. We do this through a range of grants, advisory services, networks and programmes – both face-to-face and digital. On this page you’ll find all of our opportunities at-a-glance (also available as a pdf download).

UK-German Connection acts as the bilateral government agency for school and youth links between the two countries. Despite the UK no longer being part of the EU, UK-German Connection remains dedicated to supporting partnerships, offering intercultural opportunities, and facilitating connections between schools, youth groups and young people themselves in both countries.

With international exchange currently facing a number of challenges, it’s more important now than ever to keep UK-German connections alive. At UK-German Connection we are committed to ensuring that the opportunities we offer are flexible and accessible, and to tailoring these opportunities to the current needs of schools, youth groups and young people in this changing landscape of intercultural relations.

Whatever your UK-German connection, we’re here to help. Send us your questions or ideas; we would love to hear from you!
